| Bio: | Right now I'm looking forward to going to Glastonbury Festival on Sunday 29th June with ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif){kind=small} tildathebuilder. I'm getting ridiculously excited about it but I'm disappointed the forecast seems to be for rain.   This journal is slash friendly - I read and discuss slash fiction, I also make slash themed manips and vids, and link to same. My main fandom is Star Wars, principally prequel era, main pairing Qui/Obi - but not exclusively so. Having said that my early fandom involvement, before I even knew about slash, was with het fics - mostly Obidala, always Obi and someone, and I still enjoy such stories today. If I remember I will use the filters for anything adult themed but if you are offended by anything in my journal please make contact with your concerns so I have the chance to correct any errors. I am totally obsessed by Ewan McGregor, just in case you didn't get that yet! Most of my friendships and affiliations on LJ have grown directly or indirectly out of the hopeless group of people who are also Ewan lovers, and they don't come any better than ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif){kind=small} ewan_playground playmates! I say hopeless, only in as much as we are all defenceless against his overwhelming charisma and sex appeal - but I love the warmth and support of these people. I am grateful for the fact that we can all share in our delicious adoration of his work, his easy charm, and his refreshingly straightforward philosophy on life. Not to mention the fact that he oozes sex in every word he utters and every move he makes. Oh, I have mentioned it!Time online is limited, family life, work, consuming and creating fandom products, all take their toll. So I miss things and sometimes I just skim on by (though I do like to know what my flist is up to) but I always respond to comments or any emails so if you want to contact me I'm available. So, what kind of LJ blogger am I? I post my vids obviously. Occasionally I post my haikus, drabbles or ficlets (this is very rare and they are never beta'd unless someone is volunteering), and increasingly graphics - manips, wallpapers and icons. I struggle keeping my own LJ updated with personal stuff but I do manage it occasionally. I've never really been one for self analysis or observation even. So apart from the odd little squeak I don't tend to clutter others flists. At the moment I am journalling my weight loss progress, total weight loss aiming for is about 7 stones so it's a major effort going on here. These posts are friends locked and tagged 'diet' because I like to post nostalgic pics of myself and family to keep me on message. Friendings for mutual support and cheerleading are very welcome. I like to comment appropriately in the communities I've chosen to friend or watch and if my friends post pictures, artwork, stories, or just observations, I love to respond and let them know how their post made me feel when I do catch them. Sometimes I just miss stuff but I'm pleased if people give me a heads up to something they'd like me to see. I don't pretend to give concrit. My comments tend to be just feedback - as a consumer - about how the post affected me, and depending on the extent to which I am moved and my alcohol level at the time I can be quite enthusiastic in this.
